Antiques Roadshow Segments Shot in Atlantic City
to Air in January and February 2010
(Atlantic City, NJ, November 10, 2009) -- Mark your calendars and set your DVRs. The long-awaited 2010 broadcast schedule for PBS’s number one hit “Antiques Roadshow” TV show includes three shows shot last June at the Atlantic City Convention Center.
The Atlantic City shows are scheduled for the following Mondays:
• January 25, 2010
• February 1, 2010
• February 8, 2010
PBS chose Atlantic City as the “kick-off” city for the “Antiques Roadshow” summer tour. The tapings featured top appraisers who examined antiques of all kinds; several items will be shown in each broadcast. The shows will also feature footage of Atlantic City.
Viewers should check local TV listings for exact channel number and times for the broadcasts, as not all PBS stations air the programs at the same time.
The Atlantic City Convention & Visitors Authority serves as the destination's principal marketing arm, stimulating economic growth through convention, business and leisure tourism development. The Authority oversees the management of the Atlantic City Convention Center and Boardwalk Hall. The Authority is the first in New Jersey to achieve Destination Marketing accreditation by the Destination Marketing Association International. The Authority is among an elite group of 47 accredited convention and visitor bureaus throughout the United States. For complete Atlantic City information, visit www.atlanticcitynj.com.
